  4. Requires a minimum of 68020 processor; System 6.0.7 or higher; 4-bit color
  5. monitor with at least 640x400 resolution (works on PowerBooks); HyperCard 2.0 or
  6. the HyperCard Player 2.1 or greater; 3mb RAM allocated to HyperCard (you can use
  7. 2 to 2.5mb RAM but the MODs will not play.) A HyperCard player is also available
  8. FREE in the LiveWire Library if you don't have a compatible version of HyperCard.

  11. The CyberNotes (aka sidebars) are accessed by clicking on the buttons on the
  12. appropriate pages. CyberNotes are now displayed in floating windoids which are
  13. fully scrollable and resizable. You close the CyberNotes now just like any normal
  14. Mac window or keep them all open if you want. <g>

  16. LiveWire HyperCard now incorporates the MOD files directly into the resource fork
  17. with PlayMOD 2.0.2. Those files will no longer appear loose in the folder.

  39. All the regular HyperCard commands are available. The menubar is hidden but can
  40. be revealed by typing command + spacebar. In the HyperCard spirit of sharing, the
  41. stack is unprotected and its scripts may be examined.

  43. Five tunes may be played by clicking on the Music Choir on the Contents page. A
  44. dialog box will allow you to choose which tune to play. You can also silence any
  45. tune through this dialog box. These MODs may be played while you read without
  46. slowing down the system.

  48. You can EXIT (Quit) LiveWire by typing command+Q or by clicking on the button
  49. that reads "Exit".

  51. To make scrolling through the stories faster, click on the inside of the
  52. scrollbar. Clicking near the down arrow will scroll the story one full page in
  53. that direction; clicking near the up arrow will scroll it back.  Anytime a line
  54. is only half showing at the bottom, it will be repeated with the next "page down"
  55. command.

  57. The left and right arrows to the sides of the ARTICLE icon will take you to the
  58. previous and next articles respectively.

  60. Clicking on the Article icon will return the current article to the beginning.

  62. CONTENTS takes you back to the contents page.
